Fostex 的RP單元採用長方形設計，內部採用輕盈及高耐用性的聚酰亞胺薄膜，並在薄膜上加入鋸齒狀線圈，能夠提供更自然的信息傳遞性能。而Fostex 更擴大TH1000RP的RP單元整體面積，並用上合共11組的磁鐵陣列，平衡耳機的磁通量分佈，在抑制失真的同時，帶來更高的靈敏度。
藍染工藝楓木外殼
Fostex 在設計TH1000RP時，特意用上結他常見的楓木為外殼，利用高硬度以及高密度的特性，加強高頻的明亮感，同時令細節更為分明。並用上傳統的藍染工藝，對外殼進行成色處理。
